“If you’ll get dressed, I’ll give you some candy”. . . “If you don’t get dressed, no TV today!”. . . Out of desperation, many parents have resorted to using threats or bribes to get children to behave.  Most parents have also experienced the frustration of having their child say “I didn’t want to watch TV or eat that yucky candy anyway!”  Instead of threats or bribes, consequences can be a positive tool that teaches self-control, responsibility, problem-solving, and cooperation.  Setting consequences can also be the hardest part of parenting effectively.  This workshop will help parents set consequences that teach instead of punish.  Consequences can positively change your household.  Join us!
